HNY from FieldDay! A 2023 recap. ✨

2023 was a huge year for FieldDay. Full of exciting new products, collaborations, and opportunities as well as some changes. 

Here's a recap of some of our favourite bits from the year…

In June we released "Sawdust", our collaboration candle with The Dead Rabbit Pub in NYC. It was a pleasure to work with Jack McGarry, hailing from Belfast and championing Irish makers in all he does at The Dead Rabbit. We bottled Sawdust, Whiskey and Wood, the scents of the DR Taproom, to create this limited edition candle.

August saw the completion of our brand new FieldDay website and shortly after we launched FieldStore:  A collection of lifestyle pieces designed and crafted by fellow friends of the field both near and far. We had so much fun putting this together to create the perfect one-stop shop. Pair a candle with a wildflower cotton tea towel, diffuser with an Irish book, or soap bar with a soap dish from our potter friend in England. It was extra special over the Christmas period to add lovely cards and decorations, too!

September brought the release of our brand new festive fragrance, All is Calm. We were nervous to add a new fragrance to our long time best-selling Christmas scents, Winter and Fir, but All is Calm proved to be a smashing success! We're sold out for this year, stay tuned for a restock Autumn, 2024. 😉

October revealed our Malted Barley candle, created especially for Bushmills Irish Whiskey.  It's been a privilege to collaborate with a business so steeped in Irish history and tradition. We distill the scent of their sacred row barley into this special candle. Find them at the original Bushmills Distillery, in Bushmills, NI and on our website. 💛

In November (and December!) we hosted our first ever pop- up at FD HQ. Our space across the lane was transformed into the ultimate (and most beautiful) Christmas gift shop and we welcomed hundreds through our doors for festive shopping! It was an absolute blast. A real treat to meet so many of our long time loyal customers in person, as well as so many new ones! ❤️

In 2023 we also expanded our team, welcomed 120 brand new stockist shops to our FieldDay family, added Diffuser Refills to our catalogue and so much more... It's been A YEAR and we've loved every minute of it!

2024 is shaping up to look just as exciting... 👀
