When candles make you cry... in a good way!

At a trade fair a few years ago, a lady from Southern England smelled our Hay Candle from our Apothecary Collection. Tears immediately welled in her eyes. Huge fat tears then rolled down her face. She sat down and told us that the candle reminded her of her Irish country childhood growing up on a farm. Old, forgotten memories of her Dad came flooding back. It was a special moment, and amazing to see up close how scent can impact our emotions and give us all the feels! We parted with a big hug and of course she left with a Hay Candle to take home!

Over on our socials this week we're talking about Hay and Ivy, two of our favourite scents from this collection. 

Our Ivy candle has fragrant field notes of ivy, rose and sloe and essential oils of cumin, neroli, orange and patchouli. if you like crushed green 'fig' type scents- Ivy is defo one for you!

Hay has fragrant field notes of lavender, tumbled grass and spearmint and essential oils of lemon, orange, spearmint, camomile, basil, cedarwood and vetiver.

Which is your favourite? Ivy or Hay? It's hard to choose!
